India Bloc's fate in Kargil has exposed true colours of NC: Kavinder
5/7/2024 10:54:12 PM
Early Times Report
JAMMU, May 7: Kavinder Gupta, senior BJP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister on Tuesday termed the mass resignation of National Conference (NC) leaders in Kargil a big jolt to the India Bloc.
In a statement issued here today, the BJP stalwart said that there is no element of surprise into the breaking of this alliance as all the constituents in this amalgam were misfit and passing their time just to explore possibilities which might come as surprise gifts or bounties.
"The mass resignation of NC leaders in Kargil underscores the inherent weaknesses within the India Bloc. This development serves as a testament to the transient nature of alliances formed solely for opportunistic gains," he added.
The senior BJP leader said that while the differences between different parties in India Bloc continued to simmer in the background there are some entities which are still braving the situation but it is simple the matter of days when more 'skeletons' would tumble out of aforesaid Bloc's cupboard, akin to the case of People's Democratic Party in Jammu and Kashmir. He asked people of Ladakh and Kargil not to get confused or swayed going after these short-lived and purposeless galvanization of poles apart parties especially they have a best option in the shape of nationalist party BJP.
Kavinder said that it is unchallengeable fact that today only BJP is competent enough to ensure country's progress by leaps and bounds as parties like the constituents of India Bloc are weak and have only one common aim of overpowering each other despite being part and parcel of one amalgam viz India Bloc, which is harmful for the country in case these parties come to power.
Kavinder urged the people of Ladakh to wholeheartedly support BJP in the ensuing Lok Sabha polls for a stable future of the Union Territory and for that matter the entire country as the spree of development which the BJP has started will continue and the party will again come to power with resounding majority.
