| MeT predicts light rains | | | Early Times Report
SRINAGAR, May 8: Meteorological Department Srinagar Wednesday predicted generally cloudy weather with light rain/snow at higher reaches with thunder at many places on May 11 and 12.
A MeT official said that from May 8 to 10 generally dry weather with A/N thundershower activity can’t be ruled out at few places in Jammu and Kashmir. From May 11 to 12, partly to generally cloudy weather with light rain/snow (higher reaches) thunder is expected at many places. Few places may receive moderate rain particularly during May 12, he said.
On May 13, partly to generally cloudy with light rain at few places is expected in Jammu and Kashmir.
From May 14 to 17 there is generally dry weather expected.
The official advised farmers to suspend farm operations during May 11 and 12. He added hot and dry weather likely to continue over plains of Jammu division. |
