SAMBA, May 14: In a proactive move against bovine smuggling, the Samba Police successfully thwarted an attempt and apprehended a bovine smuggler, rescuing twenty bovines from their clutches. The operation, conducted within the jurisdiction of Police Station Samba, marks another significant step in the ongoing crackdown against illicit activities in the region.
Led by the Incharge of Police Post Mansar, a dedicated police party intercepted the smuggling attempt along the Channi Mansar road, preventing the illegal transportation of bovines by foot. The arrested individual has been identified as Mohd Yaseen, hailing from Korga Korgasal tehsil Dansal district Jammu.
