JAMMU, May 14: Dr. Arshi Mughal, a young dental surgeon hailing from Jammu province (J&K) has been recently awarded with a Membership of Faculty of Dental Surgery, MFDS RCS (Eng) at FDS Diplomates ceremony conducted by the Royal College of surgeons (RCS), England, on 14th March 2024 after she has passed both parts of MFDS RCS exam in her first attempt by the year 2022. Besides this achievement, she is also awarded with MFDS RCPS (Glasg) by the Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons, Glasgow.
Faculty of dental surgery (FDS), is an internationally recognised professional body of the Royal College of surgeons (RCS), England, which is dedicated to support dental professionals in advancing research and facilitating opportunities to their members both in the United Kingdom (UK) and internationally.
She has done her BDS from Institute of Dental sciences (IDS), Sehora, Jammu in the year 2020 and is the first candidate from Jammu to crack the Dental licensing exam of United Kingdom (UK) which is Overseas Registration Examination (ORE) both parts, part 1 & part 2 of ORE in her first attempt in the year 2023.
She has scored highest in ORE part 1 April, 2023 Exam at King's College, London with a percen- tage of 85% in Paper A & 70% in paper B respectively in her first attempt and soon after that she passed her ORE part 2 Nov, 2023 Exam again in first attempt which was conducted at the Royal College of General Practitioners (RCGP), London, Eastman Dental Institute at University College of London (UCL) and Eastman Dental Hospital, London.
She is recently registered with General Dental Council (GDC), UK as a licensed Dental Surgeon and has got selected to work in UK as a General Dental Practitioner under NHS (National Health services).
