84 Bn CRPF organises “Free Medical Camp” at GDC Karol Ramban

RAMBAN, May 27: 84 Bn CRPF, under the aegis of Jammu Sector CRPF, organized a day long free medical camp at Government Degree College, Karol Ramban.
The Camp was inaugurated by Commandant 84 Bn N Ranbir Singh in the presence of Second in Command 84 Bn, Vikram Singh, Assistant Commandant 84 Bn Y Darpan Singh, Vice Principal of the College Prof Satish Kumar, prominent citizen Anita Devi, members of print and electronic media and Team Hamdard Ramban. Speaking at the function, Commandant 84 Bn CRPF stated that CRPF is the largest Paramilitary Force in the country, with nearly 250 Battalions. Since CRPF is entrusted with the responsibilities of Internal Security of the large and diverse country, India, it is deployed across all the 03 major conflict theatres, viz, J&K, LWE region and NE.
The CRPF, since its Raising in 1939, has played an instrumental role in Nation building and safeguarding the unity and integrity of the nation.
He also highlighted the various social outreach programs undertaken by the CRPF all over the country to establish better connection between the Force and local populace.
Prominent Citizen, Anita Devi expressed her gratitude, on behalf of the people of Karol and adjoining villages, to 84 Bn CRPF, for organizing the free medical camp in Karol area.
The Vice Principal also thanked 84 Bn CRPF, for organizing the camp in their College as many needy college students could also avail the facilities provided.
The camp was attended by approximately 200 needy villagers, including elderly persons, women, children and students of Host College. The participants were attended by Dr Anu Gorke SMO/DC 84 Bn. The locals were provided free medical treatment and medicines during the camp.
