HPS girls shines in inter-zonal district level volleyball competition

JAMMU, May 28: In a startled show of skill and determination, students of Humanity Public School, Bassi Kalan, Bari Brahmana, escalated to victory in the recently concluded Inter-Zonal District Level Volleyball competition held at Samba stadium. Girls have shown marvellous display of team's spirit and sportsmanship in Under-17 category. The school volleyball team was trained under the guidance of their coach Meenali Jamwal and Activity Incharge, Mahan Singh.
The match was played between Purmandal zone v/s Gaghwal zone. The Purmandal zone was declared as winner by 15-6 and 15-3 points. Six girls of Humanity Public School under Purmandal zone are selected for Inter-District Division Level competition. Under-17 girls volleyball team included Sneha Sharma (11th), Neharika Bhagat (10th), Iqra Akhter (10th), Vanshika Sharma (10th), Pallvi Devi (9th), Deepika Kumari (9th), Sheetal (9th) and Megha Charak (9th). The team's success was propelled by the exceptional skills and coordination of its talented players. All the winning participants were felicitated in the special assembly by the Principal, Gaurav Charak and Vice-Principal, Anku Charak in the presence of students and all the faculty members of the school. The duo congratulated the winners and lauded them for their outstanding performance.
Principal, Gaurav Charak also said that the school is proud of all the team members that participated and demonstrated great sportsmanship throughout the competition. He said that we shall continue practising and showing skills to build our school team as our goal with motto "To Greater Heights".
