Indian army, NCB conducts drug awareness lecture at GHSS Sohal

AKHNOOR, May 28: Indian army in collaboration with Narcotic Control Bureau successfully conducted an enlightening lecture on drug awareness and physical fitness at Government Higher Secondary School, Sohal. The event aimed to educate students on the dangers of drug abuse and the importance of maintaining physical health.
The lecture began with an insightful address by Akash Rai who highlighted the growing menace of drug abuse among youth and its devastating consequences. He emphasized the role of education and awareness in combating this issue and provided detailed information on how students can identify and avoid potential drug-related threats.
In addition students were also educated on the significance of physical fitness in daily routine by an Officer of Indian Army of Akhnoor Division, inspiring students to incorporate regular physical activity into their lives.
The interactive session allowed students to ask questions and engage in discussions, making the event both informative and participative.
Vice Principal Reena expressed her gratitude to the Army and NCB for organizing this impactful event. She stressed the importance of such initiatives in fostering a safe and healthy environment for students.
