Jammu, May 29: J&K Police Public School, Miran Sahib, Jammu organises Investiture Ceremony of Student Council Members.
The investiture ceremony for the newly elected Student Council Members was held in the auditorium of J&K Police Public School, Miran Sahib, Jammu. Prof. Rasmita Das Swain, Chairperson J&K PWWA/PPSs was the Chief Guest.
The Chairperson, accompanied by senior police officers and Principals of J&K PPSs Jammu and Srinagar, presented appointment sashes to the newly elected student council members. The newly elected members were administered oath to perform their duties with devotion and dedication.
In her address, the Chairperson welcomed the parents, Shri M. N. Tiwari, (IGP Armed/IRP Jammu Zone), Administrative Officer, J&K PPS Jammu, Shri Sujit Kumar (DIG CID Kashmir), Administrative Officer, J&K PPS Srinagar, Ms Sarah Rizvi (DIG IRP Jammu Range), Mrs Snigdha Singh, Principal, J&K PPS Srinagar, Shri Suram Singh (CO JKAP 8th Bn), Nodal Officer, J&K PPS Jammu, Shri Rajeev Sharma, Principal, J&K PPS Jammu, teachers, students and support staff.
She congratulated the newly elected members of the Student Council and hoped they will leave indelible marks in various fields by the dint of their hard work. She also hoped that the teachers will groom the newly elected student council members to play exemplary roles and they will become role models for the students of lower classes. The new assignments will instil the qualities of responsibilities and leadership
She advised the newly elected council members to have empathy for others and have confidence and perseverance to create better academic environment in the school and the school will scale newer heights. She also congratulated their parents for participating in the function and providing support to their wards.
She assured that the Management Committee, J&K PWWA/PPSs with the unflinched support of PHQ will take all possible steps to augment the existing infrastructure, quality of education and increase co-curricular activities for the overall development of students.
She highly appreciated the cultural programmes presented by the students and congratulated the Principal and teachers for their hard work, devotion and dedication.
Thereafter, Shri M. N. Tiwari, Administrative Officer, J&K PPS Jammu in his speech profusely thanked the Chairperson Madam for sparing her valuable time from her busy schedule to grace the occasion and to bless the newly elected Student Council Members. He congratulated all the newly elected Student Council Members and advised them to be sincere.
Mrs Anju Sharma presented the vote of thanks and invited the Chairperson Madam, Administrative Officers J&K PPS Jammu and Srinagar, DIG IRP Jammu Range, Principal, J&K PPS Srinagar and Nodal Officer, J&K PPS Jammu, parents and other dignitaries to join for a cup of tea.
