| National Higher Education Day celebrated | | | Early Times Report
RAMBAN, June 6: GDC Ramban organised a one day seminar to commemorate National Higher Education Day 2024 under the patronage of worthy Principal - Prof. Archana Kaul, to recognize the transformative power of higher education across the globe. The day was established to promote the importance of Higher education and to encourage students to pursue advanced learning opportunities. The resource persons for the events were Dr. Mukhtar Ahmad Mir, Assistant Professor Political Science, Dr. Sanjay Kumar, Assistant Professor Urdu and Dr. Vishal Baloria, Assistant Professor History.
Dr. Mukhtar Ahmad Mir in his lecture emphasised that this day is celebrated every year with an aim of motivating the youth to face different challenges to achieve their academic dreams. Dr. Sanjay Kumar in his speech elaborated upon the importance of the National Higher Education day and further stressed that the celebration encourages enrolment in colleges and educational institutions. Dr. Baloria in his presentation highlighted that the celebration of the day is an opportune moment to reflect on the evolution and im[pact of higher education in India - a nation that views education as the very cornerstone of its progress.
The worthy Principal of college in her address appreciated the organising team for putting their best efforts to organise such need of the hour and wonderful programme for the students in particular and society as whole.
