SKK's Deaf & Dumb students excel in 12th class exam

Jammu, June 6: The Divyang students of the School for Hearing Handicapped run by a noted NGO, Samaj Kalyan Kender, Jammu, have registered cent percent result in 12th Class. The BOSE has declared the result today.
Out of 14 Deaf & Dumb students who appeared in 12th class examination, five have got distinction & remaining nine first class. Ananya Thappa is the School topper with 80 % marks.
Those Divyang who got distinctions included Garima Misri, Rohit Thakur, Zeshan Ali & Sonam Chib.
The SKK has instituted cash award for Class toppers. Similar cash award for class toppers of BOSE conducted examinations has been instituted by a charitable Trust, Smt Gian Devi Jandial Charitable Trust.
Shri B K Raina, Advisor to SKK has donated Rs two lakhs to institute Awards & scholarships for poor & meritorious divyang in memory of his wife Smt Santosh Raina who passed away on 9th May this year.
The SKK has also instituted cash award to the Teachers in whose subjects the 12 th class students get distinction.
The President K B Jandial & entire SKK fraternity have congratulated the successful divyang for their outstanding performance in 12 th class examination.
They also hailed the hardwork put in the Teachers & the support extended by parents to the School that made this brilliant result possible. For the last seven to eight years the School is achieving cent percent results with 40 % of them getting distinctions.
