NCC Cadets visit ISRO center, Tawi Dhara Community Radio Station at JU

JAMMU, June 7: Under the visionary leadership of Prof. Sanjeev Jain, Vice-Chancellor, Central University, Jammu, Dr. Amita Gupta, CT-ANO, CUJammu, NCC Unit 4th JK Bn, arranged an enlightening visit to the Satish Dhawan Center for Space Sciences, ISRO, and Tawi Dhara Community Radio Station.
Col. MK Sharma, Camp Commandant J4 ATC, accompanied by NCC officers and 50 cadets, visited the Central University Campus, Jammu. During the visit, Dr. Rajan Badyal, PRO of CUJammu, demonstrated the workings of Tawi Dhara, Community Radio Station and discussed career opportunities in Mass Communication and Journalism with the cadets.
The visit also included an interactive session arranged by Prof. Vinay Kumar at the ISRO Centre, where cadets gained valuable insights into space sciences and research opportunities. The cadets from the NCC Bhaderwah unit, along with all 500 cadets attending the camp, expressed their heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Amita Gupta, Dr. Rajan Badyal and the entire team at the ISRO Centre for this enriching experience.
This initiative highlights the university's commitment to providing holistic education and exposure to cutting-edge scientific research and media communications, fostering a spirit of curiosity and learning among the cadets from various institutions GDC Kishtwar, GHSS Khellani, GDC Bhaderwah, GHSS Sartingal, GHSS Malothi, GHSS Bhella, GHSS Assar, GHSS Bhagwah.
