NIA Court grants interim bail to Ex-Minister and two others in alleged terror funding case

JAMMU, June 7: Special Judge NIA Jammu Jatinder Singh Jamwal today granted interim bail upto June 25, 2024 to Jatinder Singh @ Babu Singh Ex-Minister, Mohd Shareef Shah @ Shariefuddin @ Shareef Bukhari and Mohd Arshad with the directions.
While granting interim bail, Special Judge NIA Jatinder Singh Jamwal after hearing both the sides observed that accused are admitted to interim-bail till 25th of June 2024 on furnishing two sureties, each in the sum of Rs. 1,00,000.
While granting Interim bail, Special Judge NIA imposed conditions that they shall not change his residence during the period of temporary bail; not go beyond the limits of District. The shall not come in contact with any of the prosecution-witnesses, in any manner whatsoever; they shall not re-indulge in the similar activities and shall not make any communication or establish any link telephonically with the militants or any banned organization.
Court further directed that Jatinder Singh @ Babu Singh Ex-Minister, Mohd Shareef Shah @ Shariefuddin @ Shareef Bukhari shall wear GPS tracking device to be provided by the SSP, SIA, Jammu and adhere to all the conditions imperative for its effective use;
Court further directed that applicants shall attend the office of the Superintendent of Police, atleast once in a fortnight and remain available on such mobile number which he would furnish to the Superintendent of Police, District: and the Superintendent of Police, SIA Jammu shall not switch off or change the mobile number without the permission of Chief Investigation Officer of the case; thye shall not use any IOS device(Apple etc.,), any social media. —JNF
