The inaugural ceremony started with the administration of Sampoornta pledge to the officers, officials and participants by the consultant from NITI Aayog.
During the event , the Officers inspected Sampoornata stalls, erected by concerned departments at the venue disseminating awareness among the masses about the Aspirational Block Programme and the saturation of the various key performance indicators (KPIs) under Smpoornta Abhiyan to bridge the development gaps in the rural areas.
A mega marathon was also organized by the Health Department to inform the public about the campaign and aware masses about health sector initiatives, including the targets under the nutritional deficiencies among children and women and early detection of life threatening diseases.
A free medical and screening camp for hypertension and diabetes was organised during the programme at the Venue.
About 3000 Free Sanitary pads were distributed among the Adult girl students of GHSS Yourdu and other schools in spirit with the promotion of personal hygiene among girls under the KPI.
Officers and resource persons of NITI Aayog and the stakeholder departments organised performances to create awareness about the programme.
Also the Anganwadi workers ASHAs and SHG members were sensitized to the action plan to achieve saturation of KPIs.
The participants were given a detailed outline about the 3 month long programme, designed to ensure intensive and focused attainment of six key performance indicators across health, agriculture, social development, and nutrition in the aspirational block within three months.
At the inaugural event ACD Kishtwar, CPO Kishtwar and SDM Marwah urged the concerned departments, PRI members, and the public to coordinate and cooperate for 100 percent saturation of the six key performance indicators.
The CPO, ACD and SDM also visited various schools in the AB Marwah to assess their condition.
As part of the launch programme, a special gram sabha was organized to deliberate on the challenges, targets, and action plans to be pursued by all concerned and monitored at all levels.
