Muscleman Held,sharp edged weapons recovered in Gharota

Jammu, July 22: The patrolling party of police station Gharota received a specific information from reliable sources that some sharp edged weapons are lying in the office premises of one property dealer at kalri ring road .
Sensing the gravity of information the Police party immediately rushed to the spot and cordoned the premises.
Immediately after laying cordon SHO Gharota Arjun Magotra reached on spot and raided b the premises of said property dealer and found one person sitting on the chair in the premises.
The person on seeing the police party tried to flee from the spot but the police party apprehended him. During search 02 no's of Tokas (sharp edged weapons ) were recovered from his possession which were concealed in the sofa chair.
During questioning the said person disclosed his name as Santokh Singh @ Sandokha S/o Sandoor Singh R/O Rati chapri Baran Pata tehsil Bhalwal distt.Jammu.
The arrest and seizure was made under supervision of SDPO Akhnoor Mohan Sharma and were closely monitored by SP Rural Brijesh Sharma.
In this regard case FIR no.70/24 u/s 4/25 Arms act got registered at police station Gharota and investigation has been taken up.
