JAMMU, July 30: A conclave involving all Associate NCC Officers (ANOs) of 2 J&K Girls Bn NCC for the Training Year 2024-25 was conducted at Padma Shri Padma Sachdev Govt College for Women, Gandhinagar, Jammu. The event witnessed an enthusiastic gathering of Senior Wing (SW) and Junior Wing (JW) Associated NCC Officers, CTOs, along with key personnel from the Training Branch and Account Section of the unit.
The conclave was presided over by Colonel Muneesh Jasrotia, the Commanding Officer of 2 J&K Girls Battalion NCC. Colonel Muneesh Jasrotia emphasized the critical need to address various problem areas within the training regimen and invited solutions from the attendees. His insightful observations set the tone for the day filled with constructive discussions and collaborative problem-solving.
The conclave commenced with a comprehensive review of the latest policies promulgated by DG NCC, ensuring that all participants are well-versed with the latest directives and guidelines by higher Headquarters. This was followed by an engaging session dedicated to identifying and deliberating upon amendments or changes required for enhancing the quality of training. The open forum format encouraged active participation, fostering a spirit of inclusivity and shared responsibility among the ANOs and CTOs present.
Best practices were identified and disseminated for promoting excellence and continuous improvement within the various institutes of the battalion. One of the highlights of the interactive session was detailed deliberation on e-Enrolment for the current training year. Recognizing the significance of digital transformation in modernizing administrative processes, the session provided valuable insights into the streamlined e-Enrolment procedures.
The conclave also provided an invaluable opportunity for networking and camaraderie among the ANOs and CTOs. Informal discussions and exchanges during breaks facilitated the strengthening of professional relationships, further increasing the cohesion and unity of the battalion.
Colonel Muneesh Jasrotia expressed his profound appreciation for the enthusiastic participation and collaborative spirit demonstrated by all the ANOs in the conduct of all NCC related activities in their respective institutes individually and collectively. He reiterated the importance of staying adaptable, forward-thinking and working SMART in addressing the evolving needs of the training programs.
