BMS nominated conveners and co conveners for daily wagers in Chinab valley

Jammu, July 30: A meeting of prominent daily wagers workers leaders from Chinab Valley belt held at Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh office Jammu under the leadership of Ashok Choudhary BMS Pardesh Sangathan Mantri, In the meeting thread ware discussions held regarding daily wagers agitation and their regularization issues and present status of workers pending wages and on other social securities Harbans Choudhary senior leader of state BMS stressed upon that since earlier the daily wagers who were working in PHE, PDD, PWD and irrigation departments were covered under EPF and on their regularization their contributions deducted under EPF were transferred to GPF but from the last some years concerned officials had stopped contributing in this head of EPF and have given loss to poor daily wagers from this social security benefits otherwise it also work on the same analogy of New Pension Scheme (NPS). It was unanimously decided in the meeting that at district level for bringing true picture of daily wagers present status and for finding ways and means for meeting their long pending demands of regularization and side by side for implementation of social securities to these workers a convener and co convener nominated for holding meeting with workers and for awareness among the masses and chalking out fresh course of action in legitimate manner the fallowing workers leaders nominated conveners and co conveners unanimously as under Rajesh Kumar Sharma as Convener and Altaf Hussain as co convener for district Kishtwar, Ravi Bushan Sharma as convener and Sajid Aslam Qazi as Co convener District Doda and Gulam Nabi as convener and Ashiq Ali as co convener for district Ramban said in a press release.
