Present dispensation miserably failed to fulfill aspirations of J&K youth: Ajaz Jan

JAMMU, July 30: Ajaz Jan, Provincial President of the Youth Wing of Jammu & Kashmir National Conference (YNC), today conducted a meeting of the Party's Youth Wing of Chenab Zone at party office, Batote. This meeting was held in anticipation of the forthcoming Assembly elections.All office bearers of Youth National Conference, District Ramban were present during the meeting.
Ajaz Jan said that the youth are the backbone of our society, yet they are the most affected by the current regime's policies as their dreams and aspirations are being systematically undermined. He observed that the present dispensation has miserably failed to stand on the expectations of J&K youth. He underscored the National Conference's commitment to resolving these issues, asserting, "Only the National Conference can effectively address and rectify these injustices." Jan said NC has always considered youth employment as integral to its overall strategy for the development and the collective security of J&K's young population.
While in power, National Conference devised sustainable strategies to support JK's youth in developing their potential through quality education at their doorstep, improve their living and economic conditions and give them greater responsibilities in political decision-making processes," she said.
Jan encouraged the YNC leaders to work tirelessly to strengthen the National Conference's foundation, ensuring the party remains a formidable force in advocating for the youth's rights and welfare. "We must unite, mobilize, and demonstrate our unwavering support for our cause. It is our collective effort that will lead us to success," Jan motivated.

Arif Mir District Secretary Ramban, Expressing concern over the magnitude and disproportionate effect of unemployment and underemployment upon youth and its profound implications for the future of society.
Sarshad Natnoo, Zonal President of the Youth National Conference Chenab Zone, providing a detailed account of the severe challenges faced by the youth under the current administration. He highlighted the anti-youth policies that have left the local youth disenfranchised and struggling. "No locals have been employed in the power projects," he pointed out, "even the labourers have been recruited from outside the Chenab region." This stark reality has exacerbated the frustration among the local youth, who feel increasingly marginalized and neglected.
