CUJ organizes free multi-specialty medical camp in collaboration with AYUSH department

JAMMU, Aug 1: The Central University of Jammu, under the patronage of Prof. Sanjeev Jain, Hon'ble Vice Chancellor, CUJ organized a free multi-specialty medical checkup and awareness camp at Brigadier Rajinder Singh Auditorium. The camp was attended by faculty, staff and students who were screened for different non-communicable diseases and introduced to the efficacy of Unani treatment and encouraged for adoption of a healthy lifestyle.
On this occasion free medicines were also distributed. This initiative was spearheaded by Dr. Vijayata Puri, Senior Medical Officer at CUJ, in collaboration with the Directorate of AYUSH, J&K.
The medical camp featured a team of expert doctors from AYUSH, providing comprehensive healthcare services to the community. The team included Dr. Gagan Deep Kour, Medical Officer Musculoskeletal Disorders and Panchkarma, and In-Charge of the camp. Dr. Arun Gupta, Medical Officer, AYUSH Gynaecology and Obstetrics, Dr. Lotika Bharti, Medical Officer, AYUSH Eye and ENT Specialist, Dr. Mitalli Intern, Dr. Akshay Kumar Intern, Sh. Neelam Kumar, Yoga and Naturopathy Specialist.
This camp aimed to provide free medical consultations, treatments, and promote the benefits of AYUSH healthcare practices. The Central University of Jammu remains committed to the health and well-being of the community through such collaborative initiatives.
