Police organizes Tiranga Rally to honour martyrs, promote patriotism

REASI, Aug 14: In a vibrant display of national pride and unity, the District Police Reasi organized a grand Tiranga Rally as part of its ongoing series of patriotic events under the umbrella of Azadi ka Amrit Mahostav - A grand Tiranga March was held from DPO Reasi to District Police Lines Reasi.
The event culminated with a solemn visit to the Police Martyrs Park at DPL Reasi, where all participants, along with police officers, paid rich tributes to the martyrs who have laid down their lives for the nation. The proud family members of police martyrs from District Reasi participated in the function, remembering the sacrifices of their loved ones with a mixture of pride and emotion. The sight of candles being laid at the "Martyr Gallery" in the Police Martyrs Park was a moving tribute to these brave souls.
The rally was flagged off by SSP Reasi, Mohita Sharma (IPS). The march covered the entire town, with officers and officials from District Police, district administration Reasi, CAPF, IRP 1st Battalion, STC Talwara, prominent citizens, and students from various schools in Reasi town actively participating in the event.
In her message, SSP Reasi expressed her heartfelt appreciation to all participants and volunteers for their enthusiasm and support. She emphasized the importance of such events in fostering unity and patriotism within the community. The march was not only a tribute to the bravery of the nation's heroes but also served as an inspiration for the younger generation to embrace a collective sense of national pride.
This rally is part of a broader initiative aimed at instilling patriotism and honouring the nation's heroes who have made selfless sacrifices for the country's progress. The enthusiastic participation of students, teachers, prominent citizens, CAPF, IRP, STC Talwara and police personnel reflected their deep love for the nation and their respect for those who have contributed to India's freedom and development.
