Jammu, Sept 7: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader, District President Jammu South Rekha Mahajan today hailed the Jammu and Kashmir BJP election manifesto (Sankalp Patra), calling it a visionary document that outlines a comprehensive plan for the region's development and prosperity. She noted that it provides Rs 18,000 per year to the senior most women in every household through the ‘Maa Samman Yojana.' Providing assistance through the state government for women SHGs on the issue of interest on bank loans, Providing 2 free LPG cylinders every year to the Pradhan Mantri Ujjawala Yojana beneficiaries, Creates 5 lakh employment opportunities in Jammu and Kashmir through Pandit Prem Nath Dogra Rozgar Yojana (PPNDRY), Tablets/laptops to students studying in higher secondary classes in remote areas, Policy to address the issues facing 7,000 existing MSME units in Jammu and Kashmir so that access to land and public utilities will be addressed, Free-allotment of 5 marlas of land for landless beneficiaries through the Atal Awas Yojana, Ayushman Bharat Sehat Scheme by an additional Rs 2 lakh from Rs 5 lakh. Rekha Mahajan emphasized that union Home Minister Amit Shah has unveiled a plethora of gifts for Jammu and Kashmir in the BJP's election manifesto, cementing the party's commitment to the region's development and prosperity. Rekha Mahajan hailed the manifesto, saying, "Amit Shah ji has outdone himself with this magnificent document. It's a treasure trove of gifts for Jammu and Kashmir, addressing the needs and aspirations of all sections of society."
Rekha said the manifesto highlights the BJP's achievements in Jammu and Kashmir, including unprecedented development and infrastructure growth, enhanced connectivity and transportation networks, improved healthcare and education facilities, impowerment of marginalized communities, promotion of tourism and cultural heritage, effective governance, and corruption-free administration. Rekha Mahajan emphasized, "The manifesto builds on the BJP's past achievements and outlines a bold vision for Jammu and Kashmir's future. It is a document that will inspire hope and confidence among the people of the region."
Rekha highlights the BJP manifesto also outlines the BJP's plans for Jammu and Kashmir's future, including the creation of employment opportunities for youth, enhancement of education and healthcare facilities, promotion of tourism and industry, empowerment of women and marginalized communities, and effective governance and corruption-free administration.
Rekha Mahajan added, "The manifesto is a promise to the people of Jammu and Kashmir that we will continue to work tirelessly for their development and prosperity. Under the banner of PM Modi-led government committed to making Jammu and Kashmir a model of growth and progress.
