KPS Barnoti felicitates cadets, students in investiture ceremony

Jammu, Sept 14: An Investiture Ceremony-24, felicitating and decorating function was organised in the premises of Kartar Public School, Barnoti today with zeal, zest and enthusiasm.
Capt. Raj Singh Bhadwal (retd.) was the chief guest while Capt. Sat Paul Verma (retd.), Shri Ranjeet Singh JKAS, MD, Social Welfare, Department Jammu and Dr. Arvinder Singh Amn Advisor Kartar Education Trust were invited as special guests.
Er. Nirmaljit Singh Chairman, Kartar Education Trust Barnoti, Mrs Harpreet Kaur Principal, Kartar Public School, Barnoti, Mrs Neeraj Thakur Vice Principal, Mr Upinder Bandral Administrative Officer were also present in the presidium.
While giving his remarks, Captain Raj Singh Bhadwal complimented all the participating students and said that the performances, representing culture, national integration and diversity were laudable. He further congratulated Principal, Vice Principal, teaching faculty, participating students and management for regularly organising investiture ceremony with perfection. He very proudly declared Kartar Public School, Barnoti as one of the best schools not only in kathua district but also in adjoining areas.
While sharing his experiences, Captain Sat Paul Verma expressed his pleasure and concern over the energetic presentations, well disciplined parade by the NCC Cadets of KPS and scintillating cultural performances presented by the students.
Dr. Arvinder Singh Amn, expressed his views and said that it’s a unique combination of an honourable army personnel present as chief guest and students youngest at the age of 6+ successfully creating an ambience of nationality, patriotism, discipline and convection where the experiences of senior army personnels and the future commitment of the young minds can easily be felt.He further said that the sovereignty and safety of the particular nation depends upon the spirit of the common man of the particular nation and there should be no gap between the forces and the countrymen and here the presentation of cultural programme, procession, felicitation and decoration of badges, honours awards to the best NCC Cadets, the representative students of various houses including Kaveri House, Pirpanjal House, Howrah House and Saraswati Houses and other meritorious students. He also appreciated the orgainsers of the KPS, Barnoti for creating an environment where the future generation is polished and equipped with the spirit of spreading positivity in the world.
Earlier while delivering her welcome address Mrs Harpreet Kour Principal Kartar Public School elaborated in detail the purpose of organising such ceremony and said that such activities will help the student community to inculcate the spirit of discipline, honesty, dedication and patriotism.
Shri. Ranjeet Singh JKAS , Managing Director, Social Welfare Department Jammu also spoke on the occasion and expressed his gratitude.
The students of the KPS presented cultural items like Saraswati Vandhana ,Contemporary Dance presentation reflecting the message of the protection of Earth -the mother nature which were well received by the audience.
In the meanwhile Urvi Rajput a student of Class XII, Head Girl of the KPS Barnoti expressed her concern and happiness for being elected as head girl and assured to work hard for the betterment of students and the institution.
The proceedings of the programme were conducted by Ms. Dhamanpreet kour in a befitting manner and Lakshay Mehra, an another newly elected Head Boy presented the vote of thanks.
The school management and senior faculty members honoured guests present in the function with bouquets and mementos. The programme was commenced with enlightening the ceremonial lamp by the dignitaries present on the occasion. During the Investiture Ceremony the students, cadets took the oath pledging that they will uplift the moral values, ethics, awareness about the evil deeds of the society and will contribute in building healthy society.
