GDC Vijaypur Celebrates Hindi Diwas

VIJAYPUR, Sept 14: NSS Unit (KHIDMAT) of GDC Vijaypur organised a series of activities including seminar, symposium and poetry recitation competition to commemorate Hindi Diwas. Hindi Diwas, celebrated annually on September 14th, holds a special place in promoting and preserving this national language. Students of Hindi and NSS volunteers of the college participated actively in the events with great enthusiasm, fervor and zeal.
The event commenced with the welcome address by Dr. Anita Jamwal (HOD Political Science) delivering an insightful speech, sharing valuable thoughts on Hindi Day with the participants. Participating students through their poems, seminar, symposium and speech shedded light on Hindi’s importance as a unifying language; traced the origin of Hindi and highlighted its crucial role in India’s fight for independence; highlighted that Hindi plays an indispensable role in every aspect of life and should be actively promoted and preserved.
