| Chairman, CEO Railway Board Announces Rs 25000 prize for Jammu station lobby | | |

Jammu, Sept 14: Satish Kumar Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Railway Board announced Rs. 25000/- ( Twenty Five Thousands) award for Jammu Tawi Railway Station Loco Lobby after inspecting Loco lobby Jammu. While inspecting Jammu Tawi Railway Station along with other railway officials he instructed for creation of road infrastructure to the new building at the earliest. He said there is heavy footfall at Jammu Railway station and intended to make second foot over bridge at the earliest and to give connection to all platforms with this foot over bridge, 3 old Platforms and 2 new Platforms.
Chairman and CEO expressed his concern after seeing 2nd class waiting room and toilets as toilets were dirty and instructed for cleaning after every one hour and the instructions followed accordingly by railway staff and contractor or one correspondent seen it in late hour in night.
While inspecting Jan- Ahar Restaurant, passenger complained of hotness in Jan-Ahar and CRB instructed for installing ACs in restaurant and same installed in morning in Jan-Ahar restaurant. CRB also showed his displeasure of non-functioning of lift near Jan-Ahar restaurant.
Certain modification also instructed by CEO Railway Board in 2nd entry of new building and a detailed inspection is done by chairman of Yard remodeling. |
