Katra, Sept 19: Raking up Pakistan’s Defence Minister Khawaja Asif’s statement on Article 370, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday said that people of J&K have rejected the NC-Cong alliance but our neigbouring country is taking them seriously.
Addressing a public meeting at Katra, the Prime Minister said, “The people of Jammu and Kashmir have made it clear they're not buying what the National Conference and Congress are selling, but surprisingly, Pakistan is taking them very seriously”.
“In fact, Pakistan is hailing the NC-Congress alliance, emboldened by their election manifesto. This is no coincidence - Pakistan's Defence Minister has explicitly stated their support”, the Prime Minister said.

“And let me be crystal clear: no power on earth can return Article 370 to Jammu and Kashmir. We've closed that chapter, and a new era of progress has begun. The people of J&K deserve better than the failed policies of the past, and we're committed to delivering a brighter future for all”, the Prime Minister asserted. |
