RAJOURI, Sept 19: Amidst the thousands of Indian scientists featured in Stanford University's prestigious list of the top 2% scientists in the world, many hail from prominent institutions like the IITs and IISc. However, standing shoulder to shoulder with these elite academicians is Dr. Shakeel Ahmed, an Assistant Professor of Chemistry at the Government PG College Rajouri, Jammu & Kashmir.
Beyond his teaching duties, Dr. Ahmed is deeply immersed in cutting-edge research. Dr. Ahmed's contributions to polymer chemistry have earned him international recognition, with over 100 publications in reputed journals and 40 reference books to his name. He is a fellow of the Linnean Society of London and a member of both the American Chemical Society & the Royal Society of Chemistry.
