| Shiksha Niketan High School, Gandhi Nagar, Jammu organised a rally | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Sept 19: In accordance with the vision of the government, Shiksha Niketan High School, Gandhi Nagar in collaboration of Industry and Commerce Department organized 'Swachh Bharath Rally'in Jammu city on 19th September 2024. The rally was well attended by Director of the school Risheek Mengi and students of class 8th, 9th ,10th along with their teachers. The objective of the Rally is to promote Prime Minister's noble mission of "Swachh Bharat Abhiyan". The Rally aims at spreading awareness amongst locals to maintain cleanliness not in terms of surrounding but also of Behavior cleanliness (Swabhav Swachhta) and moral/ values cleanliness (Sanskar Swachhta).
Students shouted slogan 'Ek Kadam Swachhta ki aur' while holding banners and posters to spread awareness was worth the sight. A pledge was also taken to initiate the quest for cleanliness within themselves, family, locality and city.
Director of the Industry amd Commerce A K Bhushan in his address praised the efforts of students and school. He also stressed that students must keep cleanliness in the school, homes and in the city, adding that only students could inspire others to follow the Swatch Bharat Abhiyan.
Refreshment was distributed among participants of the rally to appreciate their enthusiasm. |
