YCET conducts placement drive for students

JAMMU, Sept 27: A placement drive by Pisoft informatics was conducted for the students of Yogananda College of Engineering & Technology (YCET) . Pisoft Informatics Pvt. Ltd. is a rapidly growing Mohali-based IT company, providing ERP Solutions, Software Development, Website Development, Design & Implementation, Web Services, Domain Registration, Hosting, Networking, AMC's and Online/Offline Technical Support. This company provides a web-based management system that is "PisoftERP". It is used by companies to automate their businesses and manage their business-related tasks with more ease. As we know that different businesses have variations in their way of working so PisoftERP have sub-categories for their ERP system. This ensures businesses opt for the ERP that suits their business better. For example Finance Service Management ERP (FSME) for any finance-related business and Education System Management ERP (ESME) for any educational institute, college, or university. In a nutshell, PisoftERP deals in majorly 6 industries to provide ERP solutions. It involves Finance, Education, Tour & Travel, Automobile Industry, Medical & healthcare, and Service Industry. The Placement Cell of YCET played a pivotal role in organizing the event, which witnessed active participation from officials of the participating company. The college's focus on career counseling and industry-oriented skill development was evident, enabling students to excel during the placement process. The officials from the company and Yogananda College of Engineering and Technology were involved to properly drive the placement process..The students at YCET put in a lot of preparation towards the placement drive. The drive, which was open to all Final Year B.E. students at YCET, offered diverse job profiles, including Technical Support Executive, Customer Care Executive, E-Commerce Customer Service Representatives, Construction Engineers, and Software Engineers. The placement started with the aptitute test followed by technical interview and ended up with the Hr round. Total of 11 students were selected for the final round and among them Vikrant singh from the computer science department was selected. The program was organized by Dean Academics Dinesh Gupta, and was well coordinated by Rajnish Magotra, (HoD, Civil Engineering Department), Loveneesh Talwar (HoD, Electrical Department, YCET), Er. Anshu (CSE Departmnet), Inderdeep Singh (HoD, Mechanical Department, YCET), along with the placement coordinators of Ycet.Jamwal Group of Educational Institutions (JGEI), Jammu Chairman Er. Vidhi S. Singh Jamwal, Vice-Chairman Th. Shiv Dev Singh Jamwal, Managing Director Er. Renu Bangroo, Director, YCET, Dr. Mukesh Kumar Rana, Dean Academics YCET, Dinesh Gupta and Chief Coordinator,YCET, B.R Verma congratulated the selected student.
