| Zone Jammu won the U-19 yrs Boys Basketball Title | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Oct 4: Department of Youth Services and Sports of District Jammu conclude today Inter Zonal District Level Competition of Basket Ball U-19 Yrs. Boys today at MA Stadium Jammu. The competitions are being organised under the patronage of Director General Youth Services and Sports JK UT Rajinder Singh Tara (JKAS) under the guidance of Joint Director Youth Services and Sports Jammu Ved Parkash (JKAS) and the overall supervision of DYSSO Jammu Sunil Kumar Sharma along with I/C DYSSO Jammu Harvinder Kour. About 60 participants are drawn from various private and government Schools of District Jammu. The primary goal of this competition is to select the best talent for further participation in the next competition coming ahead. The competitions are being conducted by experts of the department including Mousmi Verma, Vaneet Pangotra, Rajesh Bandral, and other technical officials of the department. I/C DYSSO Jammu Smt. Harvinder Kour appreciated the participants and guided them to play with team spirit and dedication to achieving their goal. She also distributed medals and certificates to the winners and runner up.

1st Semi-final
Zone Jammu beat Zone Satwari by 19-17 points.
2nd Semi-final
Zone Miran Sahib beat Zone Akhnoor by 28-8 points
Final
Zone Jammu beat Zone Miran Sahib by 28-26 points. |
