CHENANI, Oct 10: In observance of World Mental Health Day, Government Degree College (GDC) Chenani organized a comprehensive Legal Awareness Camp today, focusing on the legal aspects of mental health. The event was conducted under the charismatic leadership of Prof. Rajesh Gupta, Principal of the College, who emphasized the importance of understanding legal rights related to mental health.
The camp featured renowned legal expert M.M. Bhat, who delivered an informative session on various legal provisions pertaining to mental health, including the Mental Healthcare Act, rights of individuals with mental health issues, and the role of legal frameworks in promoting mental well-being.
