| Satish settles scores with ‘arrogant’ Congress | | |

Jammu, Oct 10: After facing humiliation twice due to pressure from his political rival and former Deputy Chief Minister Tara Chand, Independent MLA from the Chhamb assembly segment, Satish Sharma settled scores with Congress.
Sources said that Congress high command repeatedly approached Satish Sharma on Thursday and asked him to rejoin the Congress but he was not ready to have faith of the leadership because the same leadership had promised a mandate to him from the Chhamb assembly segment.
Till late Thursday evening, Congress leadership was waiting for Satish Sharma but he offered unconditional support to the National Conference instead of relying on the party that ditched him twice and ignored his father who was a stalwart of the party. |
