POONCH, Oct 10: District Development Commissioner (DDC) Poonch, Vikas Kundal chaired a DLRC & DCC meeting to review the performance of banks under the Annual Credit Plan (ACP) for the financial year 2024-25 and assess government-sponsored cases for the April to June quarter.
Lead District Manager (LDM) Poonch, Ashutosh Raj Koul, presented the performance report. He informed the committee that banks operating in the district had disbursed a total of Rs 265.02 crore under the ACP against an annual target of Rs 725.02 crore, achieving 37% of the target. Of this, Rs 91.44 crore was disbursed in the priority sector, achieving 16% of the target against an annual goal of Rs 571.10 crore. Meanwhile, Rs 173.58 crore was disbursed in the non-priority sector, exceeding the target of Rs 153.91 crore by achieving 113%.
The committee was also informed that the total deposits and advances in the district stood at Rs 3,848.73 crore and Rs 2,089.96 crore, respectively, as of June 30, 2024, compared to Rs 3,574.41 crore and Rs 1,837.59 crore during the same period last year.
