SCERT, Jammu organises Divisional Level Science Drama Competition

JAMMU, Oct 16: The State Council of Educational Research and Training, Jammu Division under the patronage of Honourable Principal Secretary School Education Department Sh. Suresh Kumar Gupta, IFS proudly hosted the Divisional level National Science Drama competition at Teacher Bhawan, Gandhi Nagar Jammu, bringing together the brightest minds to explore and showcase the intellectual and creative talent of students from ten districts of Jammu Division. The competition revolved around the central theme, "Science and Technology for the benefits of mankind", with sub themes such as Global water crisis, AI and society, Modern technology for disaster management, health and hygiene, and climate change and its impact.
The programme commenced with a grand inauguration ceremony that included the recital of the National Anthem, followed by the traditional lighting of the lamp, symbolising the illumination of knowledge and wisdom.
At the outset, Ms. Lakshmi Puri extended a warm greeting to the distinguished guests, DIET Principals, DNO's, Jury members, escort teachers, participants and audience.
Following the welcome address, Sh. H.R.Pakhroo, Joint Director Central Move, and Prof. Dr. Sindhu Kapoor, Joint Director JKSCERT, Jammu JDivision declared the event open and formally inaugurated the programme.
