Early Times Report
JAMMU, Oct 16: Today, the new government, formed by the National Conference (NC) in alliance with Congress and independent candidates, took oath in Srinagar. BJP securing the highest vote share of 26% in the recently concluded assembly elections of Jammu & Kashmir, will now assume its role in opposition with full responsibility. Advocate Ishant Gupta, BJP State IT Head for Jammu & Kashmir, emphasized that BJP's resounding success in Jammu demonstrates the unwavering trust and support of the people of the region. With zero seats won by Congress in the Jammu region, it is clear that the people here have rejected the politics of division and aligned themselves with BJP's vision for peace, stability, and development. BJP's continued dedication to the people. "We are here to represent the voice of Jammu and Kashmir with full commitment. BJP will continue to work for the welfare of the people, ensuring that their aspirations are brought to the forefront in the Assembly," he said.
Gupta said he hopes that the NC-Congress Coalition Government will ensure the development of all regions and sections of society "as demonstrated by the Modi Government unlike the previous NC Congress dispensations when Jammu and Ladakh used to discriminated". He further added that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is grateful to the people of Jammu and Kashmir for their unwavering support. We extend our heartfelt thanks to the people of Jammu for delivering 29 seats to BJP, reaffirming their trust in our leadership. We are also encouraged by the increasing support in Kashmir, where BJP's vote share has seen significant growth, demonstrating the expanding reach of our message across both regions.
Gupta said that as the opposition, BJP will remain vigilant in representing the people's aspirations, holding the government accountable, and advocating for policies that promote security, growth, and opportunities for all. The party's presence in the Assembly will ensure that the needs and concerns of every region are addressed. He further added that BJP remains committed to working equally for the peace, development and prosperity of the entire Jammu and Kashmir. Our guiding principle of Nation First, Party Second, Self Last will continue to shape our work as we strive to fulfill the vision of Hon'ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi Ji: "Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas." We will ensure inclusive development and foster trust among all communities, ensuring that every citizen of Jammu and Kashmir benefits from our efforts.
