Samarth Kapoor of DPS Jammu excels in state level Arithmetic Competition 2024

JAMMU, Oct 19: Samarth Kapoor (V-C), student of Delhi Public School Jammu brought laurels to the school and his parents by securing 2nd position in 14th J&K UCMAS ABACUS & Mental Arithmetic Competition 2024 held in the month of July, for which the results were declared recently. More than 1000 student from all over the state had participated out of which Samarth secured 2nd position. He has also qualified for the international level competition to be held in the month of December, 2024. UCMAS is a child development program based on Visual Arithmetic and Abacus that boosts brainpower in children aged 4-13 years. Along with strengthening math skills, the UCMAS approach promotes whole brain development and establishes foundational building blocks like memory, concentration, creativity and problem solving-core skills that inspire greater confidence and success in all subject areas and in life.
The esteemed management of DPS Jammu including President-RCT, M.K Ajatshatru Singh, Distinguished PVC-Kuwarani Dr. Ritu Singh, Director, S.S Sodhi along with Principal-DPS Jammu, Ruchi Chabra and staff congratulated Samarth and his parents for the achievement. They also extended their best wishes to him for all his future endeavours.
