DDC Chairman inaugurates new educational facilities at GHS Kilhotran

DODA, Oct 19: In a major step towards improving educational infrastructure, the Chairman District Development Council (DDC) inaugurated several new facilities at Government High School (HS) Kilhotran in Bhalessa area. The newly unveiled rooms include an Art and Craft Room, a Computer Room, a Science Laboratory, and a fully-equipped Library, significantly enhancing the school’s resources for students.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by key dignitaries, including the Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Gundow, Chief Education Officer (CEO) Doda, District Education Planning Officer (DEPO) Doda, Executive Engineer Gundow, and ZEO.
In his keynote address, the DDC Chairman stressed the importance of upgrading rural educational facilities, noting that the introduction of modern tools such as computer labs and science laboratories will equip students with the skills necessary to thrive in today’s competitive world.
The Chairman emphasized the goal of bridging the gap between the rural and urban education systems through access to cutting-edge technology and learning resources. He remarked that these new facilities would foster creativity, scientific exploration, and digital literacy, empowering students to pursue careers in various fields. He also acknowledged the efforts of the education department and local administration for their dedication to improving educational infrastructure.
The event concluded with a tour of the newly inaugurated rooms, where guests were briefed on how the new facilities would be integrated into the school’s curriculum, promoting academic excellence and inspiring students to reach their full potential.
