JKTJAC Congratulates Elected Representatives

Jammu, Oct 20: Jammu Kashmir Teachers'Joint Action Committee (JKTJAC) Organised a Press Conference at Jammu under the leadership of UT President Vinod Sharma wherein senior leaders of JKTJAC participated.
While speaking on the occasion Mr Vinod Sharma on behalf of JKTJAC congratulated all the newly elected 90 representatives of Jammu Kashmir Legislative Assembly. He wished them heartiest Congratulations .
He also congratulated the newly formed Government of Jammu and Kashmir headed by Hon'ble Chief Minister Omar Abdullah Sahib and his council of ministers.
He also welcomed Ms Sakina Itoo as Education minister.
He said that after a gap of more than 5 years elected government has been formed which is a matter of pride for the people of Jammu and Kashmir in general and employees in particular.
He hoped that the new government will come up to the expectations of the employees and resolve their issues amicably.
On the occasion he also raised the burning issues of the teaching fraternity particularly teachers appointed under ReT scheme . He hoped that Govt. will get implemented the Govt order No. 469 edu of 2014 Dated 25.06.2014 regarding inclusion of 5 years ReT period for seniority and provsion of transfer policy for Regularised ReT teachers.
He also raised another genuine issue of employees of the UT that NPS be scrapped and OPS be implemented in favour of all employees appointed on or after 01.01.2010.
He said that Hon'ble Chief Minister has assured in his election manifesto to implement OPS and they are hopeful of getting it resolved.
Mr Sharma on the occasion also appealed the government to revoke the order No 226(2) regarding retiring government employees forcefully which is anti employee.
On the occasion a unanimous appeal was made to the government to redress issues of the teaching fraternity.
