| Congress delegation visits Warwan to support fire victims | | |  Early Times Report
INDERWAL, Oct 29: A Congress delation constituted by the JKPCC President Shri Tariq Hameed Karra led by Iftkhar Ahmed, MLA Rajouri and General Secretary, Pradesh Congress Committee & other members visited the village Mulwarwan in Inderwal Assembly segment to meet the victims of recent fire incident & take stock of the relief and rehabilitation measures.
The delegation Comprised of Shri Sham Lal Bhagat, Ex MLC,General Secretary PCC and Sheikh Zafarullah, Contesting candidate Inderwal.
The delegation visited the fire-affected areas in Warwan Kishtwar to assess the situation and offer support to the victims and their families.
Their visit was prompted by a devastating fire that swept through Mulwarwan village, gutting scores of homes.
Iftkhar Ahmed & delegation demanded immediate relief and long-term support for rehabilitation, including housing assistance under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana.
Iftikhar Ahmed further demanded establishment of two new fire service stations in Warwan and Marwah to prevent similar incidents in the future.
The Indian National Congress has a history of supporting disaster relief and rehabilitation efforts. As a national party, they have been involved in various initiatives to provide aid and support the affected communities. In this case, the Congress party delegation's visit to Warwan Kishtwar demonstrates their commitment to helping those affected by the fire.
The delegation assured the victims to apprise the party leadership and to take up their demands with the government. |
