JAMMU, Nov 7: Bee Enn College of Nursing, in collaboration with Govt Maternity Hospital, Gandhi Nagar, celebrated Swachh Survekshan 2024 on November 7, focusing on the theme "Mera Shehar Meri Pehchan." The event, aimed at promoting cleanliness awareness, featured speeches and poetry by students.
The program began with a lamp-lighting ceremony led by Chief Guest Dr. Arun Sharma, Medical Superintendent of Gandhi Nagar Hospital. Neetu Sharma, Principal of Bee Enn Nursing Institute, welcomed guests. Dr. Sharma discussed the importance of proper waste disposal and praised the Jammu Municipal Corporation's efforts in maintaining a clean city. He also encouraged participants to use the Swachhta App for active involvement in the cleanliness drive.
The event featured a speech competition, with students sharing their thoughts on the year's theme. Special guests included comedian Akash Masih and RJ Chaitanya. The program concluded with a vote of thanks from Dr. Isreal Jeba Prabhu, Vice-Principal of Bee Enn College of Nursing, who expressed appreciation for the support and participation. |
