Pawan Kundal files nomination for JKHCBA president

JAMMU, Nov 7: In a significant development for the Jammu and Kashmir legal fraternity, senior advocate Pawan K. Kundal officially filed his nomination for the post of President of Jammu and Kashmir High Court Bar Association, Jammu. With a strong track record of dedication to the legal profession and advocacy on behalf of both clients and fellow lawyers, Kundal enters the race with a commitment to lead and strengthen the Bar Association.
Kundal's nomination reflects his vision for a progressive and unified Bar Association that supports the welfare of its members, promotes legal excellence, and addresses issues facing advocates in the Jammu and Kashmir. His agenda includes enhanced member services, advocacy for judicial reforms, and fostering a collaborative relationship with the judiciary to ensure that justice is served effectively.
On filing his nomination, Kundal stated, "It is an honor to stand for the position of President of the Jammu and Kashmir High Court Bar Association, Jammu. The election for the position of President is scheduled for 7th of Dec, 2024, and Mr. Kundal joins a list of distinguished candidates dedicated to the advancement of the legal community. The Election Committee of the Bar Association has assured members of a fair and transparent election process, with all procedures strictly following the association's bylaws.
