| DC Reasi reviews R&B, PMGSY project progress | | |  Early Times Report
REASI, Nov 7: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Reasi Vishesh Mahajan today convened a meeting of officers to review the physical and financial status of works being executed by Roads and Buildings (R&B) and Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY) departments.
The Deputy Commissioner evaluated project wise the status work on roads and buildings in the district seeking timeline completion. He warned that no laxity or delays will be tolerated in project executions, asking the executing agencies to reinforce men and machinery to complete roads in remote areas of Gulabgarh before December.
The DC also reviewed the condition of bridges and sought timely repairs where ever required. He also asked for conducting safety audits of the bridges and ensuring close supervision during execution.
The meeting was attended by CPO Narinder Kumar, SE (PMGSY) SE (PWD) , XENs of various departments of Reasi/Mahore/Katra division, AEE and other officers. |
