JAMMU, Nov 15: The Indian Chamber of Commerce (ICC), one of India's premier industry associations, marking its centenary year on December 15, 2024, has proudly announced the appointment of Mr. Rahul Sahai as the Chairman of its newly established ICC Jammu Business Council. This milestone marks the first-ever ICC chapter in Jammu, reflecting ICC's commitment to fostering regional industrial growth and engagement.
Rahul Sahai, a prominent business leader and Past Chairman of the CII , PHDCCI after completing his successful tenures of 4 yrs in PHDCCI and 2 yrs in CII and also from a reputed family and carrying forward the legacy of his great Father Late Sh Ram Sahai a tall Business leader , brings with him extensive experience in advancing industrial and economic development. As Chairman of the ICC Jammu Business Council, Rahul Sahai will lead initiatives aimed at driving reforms, manufacturing-led sustainable growth, skill development, technology adoption, and self-reliance in key sectors.
Abhyuday Jindal, President of ICC, stated, "It is a privilege to welcome Rahul Sahai to lead this historic initiative in Jammu. His visionary leadership and dedication to industrial progress will immensely benefit the region. As ICC celebrates its 100th year with the theme 'India 2047,' Rahul Sahai's role will be instrumental in aligning Jammu's growth trajectory with the nation's vision of becoming a developed economy by 2047."
Founded in 1925, ICC is one of India's oldest and most respected chambers of commerce. Over the years, ICC has championed the cause of Indian businesses on the global stage, offering valuable policy advocacy and business promotion services. With the establishment of its Jammu chapter, ICC reaffirms its commitment to strengthening regional economies and enhancing India's global competitiveness.
