| PTTI Vijaypur organises two days medical camp | | |  Early Times Report
VIJAYPUR, Nov 19: Police Technical Training Institute (PTTI) Vijaypur in collaboration with Police Hospital Jammu organized two days medical camp cum awareness which was inaugurated by Shri Dushyant Sharma-SSP Principal PTTI Vijaypur on 18.11.2024 with the motive to provide knowledge/awareness with regard to importance of health to staff and trainees of PTTI Vijaypur, On this occasion, a team of senior doctors including Dr. Sanjay Sharma (Consultant Physician) and Dr Baljit Singh (Medical Officer) of Police Hospital Jammu were invited at the Institute who delivered an impressive lectures to the staff and trainees on " Risks and Harms of Self-Medication" and Evacuation of injured persons during accidents. The visiting doctors explained the risks and harms of self medication in detail and advised to refrain from such practices and highlighted that good health always keeps us happy by giving us a feeling of complete physical, mental, social and intellectual well being and keeps us away from diseases and health disorders. Besides, They explained in detail the precautions required to be taken during the evacuation of injured persons from the accident site for the safe dispatch of the injured to the hospital. Demonstration of giving CPR to the victims and process of shifting of injured to the nearby hospital was also held by the team which was witnessed by the trainees of Traffic Induction and Disaster Management courses who often come across with such incidents. Principal PTTI Vijaypur thanked the visiting doctors for sparing their valuable time for organizing this medical camp and were honoured with a Memento by the Principal PTTI Vijaypur. Among others, Niaz-ul-Hussain-DySP-Outdoor, Davinder Gupta, DySP-R&D, Khushwant Singh, DySP-Admn, Surrinder Paul Singh DySP-Indoor, Raj Kumar SrPO and Ch. Asif Iqbal Sr.PO were present on the occasion. |
