The forms were found to contain incorrect officer designations and addresses, raising suspicions about their authenticity. In a statement, the Vigilance Department confirmed that the application forms in question were fraudulent, urging candidates to exercise caution when applying for railway jobs. They reiterated that the recruitment process for the Northern Railway is conducted in a fully transparent and online manner. Applications are only accepted through the official websites of the Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) and Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC). Candidates are advised to apply exclusively through the authorized website of RRC Northern Railway: www.rrcnr.org. The department also warned that offline application forms would not be accepted for any recruitment processes. Northern Railway has ramped up its efforts on social media and other platforms to alert job aspirants about the growing number of fraudulent job offers. A spokesperson from Northern Railway emphasized the importance of verifying recruitment notifications and adhering to official channels to avoid falling victim to job fraudsters. |
