Govt College for Women Gandhi Nagar hosts seminar

JAMMU, Nov 20: The Department of Education at P.S.P.S. Govt. College for Women, Gandhi Nagar, organized a seminar on "Maximizing Potential: A Balanced Approach to Competitive Exam Prep for Undergraduates" in the AB.5 Smart Classroom.
Held under the patronage of Principal Dr. S.P. Saraswat, the seminar focused on equipping undergraduate students with effective strategies for excelling in competitive exams while managing their academic responsibilities. Dr. Saraswat commended the department for addressing such a relevant topic.
The event began with a welcome address by Dr. Neetu Raina, Organizing Secretary, followed by insights from Dr. Rupinder Kour, H.O.D of Education. Key speakers included Mr. Chetan Ghai and Ms. Ritika Bhan (JKAS Rank-17, 2023), an alumna of the college, who shared practical tips on time management, goal setting, and maintaining balance during preparation.
The seminar saw active participation from over 110 students, including semester 3 representatives Pratibha, Kashish, Rishita, Sonia, and Kavleen, who led various segments of the event. Esteemed faculty members, including Dr. Renu Anand, Prof. Anupama, Prof. Rohit, Prof. Satita, Prof. Suraj Mohini, and Prof. Poonam, also graced the occasion.
The program concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Ms. Kashish, marking the event as a significant step in motivating and guiding students toward academic and competitive success.
