Tawi Trekkers J&K organizes Successful Trek

JAMMU, Nov 30: Tawi Trekkers J&K successfully organized a one-day, 7-kilometer trek from Katal Battal to Aitham via Bhed Devta in the picturesque foothills of the Shivalik range. The trek saw the enthusiastic participation of 133 students from Oriental Academy Senior Secondary School, Jammu along with some members of the club.
The trek was led by Sonam Sidharth, General Secretary of Tawi Trekkers J&K, who ensured a smooth and enjoyable experience for all participants. Accompanying the group were Vivek Chauhan, Principal of Oriental Academy Sr. Secondary School,Jammu; Ram Khajuria, Advisor of Tawi Trekkers; Sanjeev Sharma, Executive Editor of Sportsline; andRajesh Shan, a retired Chief Accounts Officer (CAO). The initiative aimed to promote adventure activities and foster a connection with nature among young students. It provided them with an opportunity to explore the serene beauty of the Shivalik foothills while emphasizing the importance of physical fitness and environmental conservation.
The trek was lauded by the participants and the accompanying dignitaries for its well-coordinated organization and safety measures. Tawi Trekkers J&K continues to inspire the youth to embrace adventure and outdoor activities for their holistic development.
