Students of HPS Shine at 21st State Matsogi-Do Championship

JAMMU/SAMBA, 3: Dec In a remarkable feat, students of Humanity Public School, Bassi Kalan, Bari Brahmana have showcased outstanding skills and determination at the 21st State Matsogi-Do Championship 2024-25 held at Indoor Sports Complex, Bhagwati Nagar recently. 72 students of HPS participated in the competition out of which 38 students brought medals at different categories i.e; under 9, 11, 13, 15 and 17 category, Under-9 and 11 category, 4 boys (Akhilesh Charak, Naksh Malviya, Rudra Pratap, Naksh Kumar), Under-13 category (Sameer Dogra), Under-15 and 17 category, 6 boys (Pranav Rajput, Krish, Ranvijay, Uday Dev Singh, Sayam Charak and Daksh Singh) and 1 girl (Aakriti Charak) Under-13 won gold medal. Under-9 and 11 category, 2 boys and 4 girls (Lakshya Charak, Vidhant, Gurpreet Bhagat, Ananya, Ridhi Jamwal, Sunakshi Charak), Under-13 category, 2 boys (Uplaksh Charak and Jaskaran Singh) and Under-15 and 17 category, 2 boys and 1 girl (Paras, Vansh and Samriti) won silver medal whereas Under-9 and 11 category, 5 boys and 1 girl (Rishab Mehta, Harsh Angurana, Naman Charak, Arav Kashyap, Ansh Sharma and Sanvika),Under-13 category,2 boys and 4 girls (Ikjot Singh, Kartik Mehra, Niharika Devi, Elina Biswas, Manvika Sadotra and Samriti Bhagat) and Under-15 and 17, 2 boys and 1 girl (Soham Sharma, Muzzamil and Chunmun) won bronze medal. Students of Humanity Public School won 12 gold, 11 silver and 15 bronze medals and brought laurels to their school. Humanity Public School stole the show by standing at the 1st position in the competition. All students were trained and guided under the Sports Incharge, Mr. Mahan Singh and Coach, Mr. Bhanu Pratap Singh.
Principal of the school, Mr. Gaurav Charak and Vice-Principal, Anku expressed immense pride in the hard work and achievement of the students under the guidance of Sports Incharge, Mr. Mahan Singh. They also honoured the winners in the school assembly and congratulated all the students and staff members of the school for the outstanding performance and victory of the students.
