| SPPND GDC Samba organizes 6-day computer course | | | Early Times Report
SAMBA, Dec 3: The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of SPPND Government Degree College, Samba, has taken an initiative to enhance the digital skills of its non-teaching staff by organizing a 6-day Computer Training Course, started on 02nd December, 2024. The course, divided into two groups for comprehensive coverage, is being conducted by the Department of Computer Applications of the college.
The course was formally inaugurated today by the Principal of the college, Prof. Dr. Twinkle Suri, in a brief ceremony held on campus. In her address, the Principal emphasized the importance of digital literacy in ensuring seamless administrative operations and enhancing workplace productivity. She also appreciated the efforts of the IQAC team in organizing the program to empower the non-teaching staff with relevant technological skills.
The training sessions will cover a wide range of topics, including basic computer operations, office applications, email handling, and digital documentation. Each group will undergo training for six days, ensuring that every participant receives hands-on experience and personalized guidance.
This initiative reflects the college's commitment to holistic development, not just for its students but also for its staff. By bridging the digital divide, the course will enable the staff to contribute more effectively to the institution's functioning.
