| Kavinder launches membership drive as part of BJP's nationwide initiative | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Dec 16: Kavinder Gupta, senior BJP Leader and former Deputy Chief Minister today launched a membership drive as part of the Bharatiya Janata Party's nationwide initiative 'Sadasyata Abhiyan'. He congratulated the party for becoming the world's largest political organization, with the highest number of primary members.
Kavinder also praised the BJP's outstanding performance in the recently concluded Assembly elections, where the party secured 29 seats, its best-ever result in Jammu and Kashmir. He credited this success to the hard work of BJP leaders and workers who made consistent efforts to connect with people across all levels.
"The BJP has become one of the largest political parties in Jammu and Kashmir. In the 2024 Assembly elections, the BJP got 26.6 percent of the votes. This time, we aim to have over two million registered members," he said and mentioned that the success of previous membership drives in 2014 and 2019, which helped the BJP grow into the world's largest political party.
The former deputy Chief Minister said, "Under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi, the Bharatiya Janata Party has reached new heights, not only in Jammu and Kashmir but across the country. PM Modi's vision and commitment to the people have inspired millions, helping the BJP become the world's largest political party. With a goal to strengthen our base, we are launching this membership drive to reach even more people and bring them into the party fold. I urge everyone above the age of 18 to join us and be a part of this historic movement."
