Red Cross organizes First Aid awareness program

SRINAGAR, Dec 20: J&K Red Cross organized a day-long Red Cross and First Aid awareness program for students and faculty at Government Polytechnic College for Women, Srinagar. Around seventy students, faculty members, and Red Cross staff participated in the event.
G.A. Qureshi, Honorary Treasurer of J&K Red Cross, was the chief guest and emphasized the importance of the Red Cross movement and first aid training for the younger generation. He encouraged the youth to volunteer and help those in need.
The Principal of the college, Er. Mohammad Shafi, welcomed the guests and participants, while Dr. Aasia Noor delivered a detailed presentation on First Aid. The event also saw the establishment of a Youth Red Cross (YRC) unit at the college. Additionally, 70 sanitary pads were distributed to the students, and certificates of participation were given to all attendees.
