Jammu, Dec 22: Crime Branch (CB) has produced challans against eighteen accused for different frauds in nine different cases in which investigations had been completed and offences established.
Among the accused against whom charge-sheets have been submitted to the courts of law included one former journalist, three property dealers, two former contractors and four government employees .
The charge-sheets have been filed in different courts in Jammu, Samba and Udhampur for further judicial proceedings .
The nine cases in which CB has completed investigation were registered between 2014 & 2024 and in-depth investigations had been conducted in each case by the seasoned, experienced and professional investigating officers (IOs) taking into consideration all aspects & facts of the cases and applying scientific aid to investigations.
Senior Superintendent of Police Crime Jammu Benam Tosh confirmed that challans of cases FIR No.40/2020, FIR No. 23/2014, FIR No.48/2015, FIR No.33/2019, FIR No.40/2016, FIR No.21/2022, FIR No.35/2018, FIR No.69/2022 and FIR No.57/2015 have been produced in the courts of Law for judicial determination. |
